I. Requirements Analysis:
The unit's computer room needs to build a system solution for the remote management and control of 300 hosts The 300 hosts are controlled by seven sub-control points in an evenly distributed manner: the first six sub-control points control an average of 48 hosts each, the last point controls 12 hosts. The system requires a two-tier architecture, with centralized switching management at the front end and extension at the back end. This solution can achieve both switching operations and centralized switching operations in the computer room.

II. System Overview Design
1. System Mode:
All hosts in the server room are connected to a KVM. Since the number of interfaces on a KVM switch is limited, to achieve the goal of centrally managing dozens of hosts at a single control point, two-level cascading of switches is to expand the interfaces, thereby realizing centralized switching management. Remote operation requires a KVM extender, which uses network cables as the transmission medium to extend the console port of the switch the remote control room, thus achieving the remote control management mode.

2. System Functions:
Image Quality: The video from the host to the switcher is completely lossless. The video signal is extended from the console port the switcher to the remote end via the KVM extender, providing a clear video image with no noticeable degradation.
Simple Switching Operation: Switching can be performed locally via the buttons on switcher's back panel, and remotely via keyboard hotkeys. Additionally, the switcher provides an OSD menu for even easier operation, and there is no latency in keyboard and operations extended to the remote end. When unattended, the switcher's auto-scan function can be enabled, and the KVM extender ensures synchronized video display at both the local and ends.
